Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Vox had a plan ever so grand
But the forces of Storm made their stand
Vox's troops did their best
But in peace they do rest
And today peace is now close at hand
General Jon clearly had his dislikes
And that includes those damn pikes
So he said 'Let's march on'
Over the mountains at dawn
And the last word ever heard was a "Yikes!".
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
OK - from the above posts it would appear that the only people in the world capable, or willing, to write limericks are native to Estonia (or Stormia).
Or maybe so many members of GS are contributing because they don't want that private forum peace discussion to fall into the wrong hands.

I see reponses from Lego, RP and GoW members in this thread too.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.
A humble nation once, I was told,
Raised a grand army; more than eye can behold.
They dared to challenge the storm
Their tactics clever: misinform.
The world was shocked: that was bold!
It was a defiant, heroic, final stand
Now they're ready to sail to Legoland

We lost a fight, we're not defeated!
(painful silence) ... farewell Motherland."

FP - agreed. However, to date we have 13 from GS, 3 from Vox, and 1 each from GoW, Lego, and RP.
NeuD - well, we understand. Anyone care to try a limerick in German?
What do you expect? Gee, the two teams who actually PARTICIPATED in the peace deal are the ones posting. I wonder why...
Well, since MY submission didn't even qualify as apparantly "willing or capable" Ill just leave this thread alone.
I'll just focus my efforts on Trappings instead

Vox Controli wanted to tuss
But it turned out to be just a fuss
The Medieval Infantries were stout
And the storm spoken out:
"All your base are belong to us."
The war of immortals ended fast
Vox will go by the way of the mast
Vox lies in peace today
Soon they'll be rowing away
For the sake of a peace that will last
Beta, here are my admission fees.
/me hands over a sack of gold coins to Beta with a mysterious wink.

It's over! I can't take this anymore! I'm sorry Beta, I can't keep up with these lies anymore. I have to confess.
This is the truth. Me and Beta have been using the limerick contest's admission fee to "launder" money. But now it is all over.
I surrender. Arrest me! Lock me up in the deepest of dungeons! I deserve it.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
