  • Need help making a scenerio

Edit: Ignore. I think I fixed it. I got it to work by going into windows, then going into my PTW directory, then cutting and pasting my .bix file and moving it into the scenerios directory.

My only question now is. Why the hell did they have to make this so unintuitive?

If you opened the civ3x.bix file, made the change, and then did a "Save" ( instead of "Save As..." ) , then you wrote the changes to the civ3x.bix file and they will be in effect for all of your non-scenario games. The are two problems with this:

    1. If the changes you make corrupt the file somehow, you need to reinstall to restore the original civ3x.bix.
    2. This file gets written over whenever there's a patch, so you lose your changes.

Make sure you do a "Save As...", and pick a new name for the file. Then when you launch PTW, click on "Load Scenario", and select the file you created. The changes you made will be loaded for the new game you start.
