  • Civ3PTW: Gamespot's Most Disappointing Game on PC

there is a message on the poly civ3-front page http://apolyton.net/civ3/ about gamespot's "best of 2002" votes, but it wasn't mentioned, that PTW had the sad honour to win the contest of the "Most Disappointing Game on PC".

GameSpot is the world's largest source for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, Wii PC, 3DS, PSP, DS, video game news, reviews, previews, trailers, walkthroughs, and more.

note: i don't believe the civ3-community was disappointed, because we all knew what we were going to get and what not. i was only hoping for a full scenario diplomacy editor...

however, as a game (after the patches) PTW is playable a imho quite enjoyable.

For that matter, PTW was considered the "Most Disappointing Game on PC" by pretty much everyone on Apolyton well before Gamespot printed a story on it.
Infograme: n: a message received and understood that produces certain anger, wrath, and scorn in its recipient. (Don't believe me? Look up 'info' and 'grame' at dictionary.com.)

        ????
Giving your own opinion is fine by me, but if your going to speak for everyone, make sure your right.

I personally like and enjoy PTW very much, yes, it sure can use another patch, which will be here (very) soon btw.

        Edit: added ' for everyone'

I'd not say that I'm disappointed with PTW (I enjoy the additions), but the whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth.

oh, and alva, tell us what you know.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

It's even more disappointing if you haven't got Civ3.

Unless you REALLY like the cover art.

The chat with Firaxis was a month ago now ?(if not more). They said it would be soon (and were already testing it).---> Should be here in a not to far distant future
