  • modern age cant get it

Ok, The latest patch for civ3 worked great and i can play for hours and hours with no problems. Now with PTW i can't get to the modern age without the game crashing every single time. I have tried many things, I reinstalled video drivers, and unistalled them, etcetc. I also have the latest updtes for my computer(on everything). I even unistalled ptw and then reinstalled it and did each patch. didnt work. Then just tried it by using the 1.14 patch. I really want to get online and play but why should i if i cant even play a single player game without issues.

    Can someone help me please

dont understand: Is it working now with 1.14 or is it not working?
I play only SP until now and installed right away with the patch and have in SP no problems until now...

Can you actually start a game with the unpatched version?

If so, how far do you get before it crashes?

You should only need the correct 1.14 patch.

            Sounds like a Beta

I think you have a BETA copy and not the final version.

I took a look at the BETA (WAREZ) before I bought the game.

I would say you should go out and buy the game like the rest of us.

Thats possible, or it could just be maybe a graphics file for Modern Age thats corrupted/ Did you try reinstalling all of Civ3?

What OS? If it is XP maybe you could try running the program in a different compatibility mode. I doubt it will help but it is worth a shot.

You may want to contact infogrames tech support they usually give fast replies.
