Question About Saved Game Files

I notice the manual saves I make during a game create files that are about 200-300kb in size. I also noticed the Autosaves create files between 2-3MB in size. Does anyone know, or have a good theory about the difference?

What's in the autosave that's missing from the manual save?

What's in the autosave that's missing from the manual save?

Manual autosaves are automatically compressed, while automatic autosaves are kept uncompressed for speed reasons.
