    Here my Fascism Mod for Civ3: PTW

    Origins of Fascism

    Totalitarian philosophy of government that glorifies the state and nation and assigns to the state control
    over every aspect of national life. The name was first used by the party started by Benito Mussolini ,
    who ruled Italy from 1922 until the Italian defeat in World War II. However, it has also been applied to
    similar ideologies in other countries, e.g., to National Socialism in Germany and to the regime of Francisco
    Franco in Spain. The term is derived from the Latin "fasces".

    Worker rate : 2(NormalStandart
    Millitary Police : 4

    Paid Labor

    War Weariness : None

    Diplomats are Veteran

    Propaghanda Vs: (Fascism raised in middle-class so we got to have "freedom" and " economic freedom" to succeed Fascism Propaghanda)

    Democracy: 15 (Spain and Germany see the raising of Fascism in Democracy)
    Republic: 15
    Communism: 5 (Communism police control are very hard for Fascism propaghanda, since communism and dislike each other)
    Monarchy: 10 ( In Italy, Fascism born in a Liberal Monarchy)
    Despotism: 5 (Despotism got some Nationalism and they got some fascism thing, so it's harder to "propag" people )
    Anarchy: 25

    Ruler Title
    1- Chancellor
    2- Kaiser
    3- Duce
    4- Fürher

    Hmmm...I would reduce corruption a bit in this--as you have it, there is too small an improvement over Monarchy.

      Agree about reducing the corruption. I'd also change the Assimilation Chance to something drastically lower (or even zero). And I'd make unit upkeep cost 2 per unit (but then again, I changed Republic to 2 and Democracy to 3, so go figure).

      I stripped Fascism out of my mod; maybe I'll put it back in. I also linked it to Radio, but Corporation might be a better fit. Hmmm.... yeah, I think I'll give it another try. Nice to have a little more variety in the late game.

        I dont think i will reduce assimiliation
        In some Fascism Govern. Government(Fascism Party) have school, association of youth (you was a Member or the Youth Fascism Organisation at 4 years old in Italy andmaybe the same thing in Germany), they create syndicate, corporation... even journalist got to enter a Fascism Association..
        Fascism is a great assimilation machine. I raised the value to 6, because i've keep the goal of a Millitaristic Modern Gov. I wanted some, maybe unrealistic, some differentthing to got in the Modern World when you're at War.

        I know corruption is a bit high.. but this is the problem when state control everything. If i put the corruption lower i'm afraid that can unbalance the mod, and put the Facism to strong.
        Dont forget, they can support more Unit than Monarchy, maybe what I can do, is higher the free Unit.????
        Now I've made this change

          That's what I did with "Modern Autocracy" in my mod-in-progress-

          I have workers nearly as fast as a Democracy (like yours), and I have corruption lower (er... IIRC, I have it set at 'Nuisance'). OTOH, I dropped Assimilation to 1%- while many people step into line with a Facist or Autocratic government, they also tend to spawn resistance movements; a la the Warsaw Uprising, and the French Resistance.

          I have 'em generating production penalties (Why trade for that oil and food you need in the Soviet Caucusus, when you can just send Army Group South to seize it?), and have the free units at 3/6/12.

          What I've seen out of nations using this government in test of the mod is pretty much what I expected- aggressive nations using it, attacking their neighbors, and either losing the cities they've taken due to cultural flip, or razing them to the ground- a la Stalingrad.
          It hasn't seemed too out of line... yet.
          Disclaimer: I am far from being done with testing.

          That's thought, anyway, and worth every penny you paid for it.

              I agree with Congobeast, a fascist governement should have a 0% or 1% assimilation rate. Fascism is often used with strong nationalism, so conquered citizens should be very offended by the racist attitude of the conquerors and strongly resist. Culture flips should be a nightmare, the only solution being to raze all the conquered cities (it's called ethnic purification ). Otherwise fascism would be far too powerful.

                Agree to zero assimilation.

                Fascism should have forced labor, too.
                The difference between industrial society and information society:
                In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
                In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.

                  What you said it's true, that's why my Resistance Modifiers are High. When you Capture Enemy City it's take some time to turn Resistance into "productive employee", more time than any other Governement. But this is not the assimilation factor.
                  Assimilation are more like this:
                  Imagine a fascism country invade a monarchic country. When Fascism invade the country, many many people will resist. But at soon at it become "productive or non-resistance" it become eat and transformed by the big fascism propaghanda that come with every Fascism state!! Cause people will be "happy" to be part of this great civilization, and, you have NO CHOICE to be a part of this civilization. Unless you are resisters, but this is another factor described before!!
