Problems with installing

I have got a problem with installing CIVIII-PTW.

Whenever I try to run the editor I get a message that the installation ofthe game cannot be found and when I play with regicide I get an error due to a missing link in pedicalicons.txt.

Has anyone experienced something similar ?

Are you using a pirate alpha version?

How did you install it??

I just did a clean install, and my tech-tree was al scr*wd-up.
I then patch civ3 to 1.29 and all was fine.

Which is odd, because PtW includes 1.29f patch for Civ3

jaw, have you tried uninstalling, cleaning out the bits of residue, and reinstalling?
