Airplanes Crashing All the Time!!

Hi! After playing a few games of PTW, I realised that whenever my bombers or fighters are intercepted by the AI, there will be a long pause and soon after the game hangs and I need to restart n load up the auto-save again.

Upon restart however, the same bombing of the city and interception goes without a glitch. Sometimes the bomber gets intercepted , sometimes not after the restart.

This occurs in most turns and I have given up trying to bomb cities with interceptors to avoid wasting time.......

What gives??!!

Have you modded the game rules in the editor, particularly the air units or rules for air intercept?

Sounds like mods to me, I have not had that issue.

Might be a simple RAM issue. I have had some problems with only 128Mg RAM. Suggest bumping your RAM and retry.

No, mine has not been modded yet or anything. PLaying with the original rules and 1.04 F.

My Ram is 256 megs, should be enough.....the animations shuoldn't bt too taxing as well.

The crash occurs during intercepts, but when I restart and bomb the same city and get intercepted....its fine and doesn't crash.

Next turn there is the possibility of crashing again when another of my bombers gets intercepted.

Really weird......no one else experienced this??
