Very Annoying Bug

I come back from class today, through which I have been thinking about PtW which I just bought over the weekend, ready to complete my conquest of the Babylonians, and whoa and belond, a freaking bug.

For no reason whatsoever I get the message "file not found Sounds/menu/menu1.mp3" during the game loading. I have not deleted any files, and the game worked fine before. It is as if the thing just decided to hate me. Anyone else have this problem?

I have to say that I have only been able to eek out one game from this title, and that will now end in the middle ages because of this annoying bug. I don't see the point in a game I can't play (or play only selectivly).

Patroklos,

Try coping any sound file to Sounds/menu/menu1.mp3. Change preferences to no sound, and then try loading the game. You might still be able to play. Else back up a few saves and load one of those files instead of the latest.
