The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Just got PTW tonite... cool game my friends , though have not tried multi. Anywho, is anyone doing some gigas for Earth and Europe (made for PTW)? I've been tinckering with the Europe map provided, alas I have little patience to construct such a big map.
There are some really big world maps - marla singers and one even bigger (256x256, if I remember correctly) in different variations, included as scenarios - there are european maps as well, but I'm not sure if they are just huge or really gigantic...

This web will have in the future "giga" maps for PTW, sure...
Make sure to get the update for it - many changes from what you will find on the disk.
Glad you like it, personally I find the wait between turns too much with 31 Civs... maybe on a smaller map but onthe giga map.. you must have a fast PC
Is it possible to install the update when a game is in progress?
Yes - moves take long - I'm currently playing on monarch in the in the modern age (started with one settler each civ) and moves take about 20 minutes on an athlon xp 1800+, 512mb ddr ram (cl2), but it's worth the waiting (I'm checking this forum, watch movies or read whilst it's computing, so it's not that bad...).
For the next game, I think I'll play the map with cities and try disabling the possibility to build settlers for all civs to prevent an overcrowded map, so it may be faster (besides I like the Idea of having to use colonies and being forced to attack to expand) - but I'll first have to learn about the editor (I didn't do too much with it yet...)
Many add ons, fixes in the update, however it will make your current game not playable.
There are no leader heads for all 31 Civs minus one where I doubled up. Wait time between turns has been reduced by 35%.
Many more things but too much to list here...
I just downloaded the update - is there a list of changes from the version on CD available somewhere? There seems to be none coming with the update. I extracted it to a different folder to not destroy my current game, but can't find any except the 1.65 readme, which is not too informative, taken into account my personal experience with the mod.
I'm just reading the thread on civfanatics, but if there was a list of changes inthere, I guess it would have been within the first post (?)
I can tell you most of it is graphics related, new leaderheads, new units, new sounds, map adjustments, production costs, new resources, some fixes....
Mmmh - thanks anyway guess I'll have to try after finishing my current game - as far as I can see it 'til now, it's the only mod making buying PTW for 50€ (imported US-Version) really worth it for me
