In normal Civ 3 (without a save game or other tricks) it was not possible to force a civ to start in a specific city. Is this possible in PtW expansion?

i dont think this was properly solved by 1.29 - since you have to use the editor to set up the start positions which time consuming.
does it now work properly, ala civ 2, where you select earth map and the starting locations are automatically generated in the correct place?

In the editor, go to each starting spot (they're already there) and right click on it, and assign it to the civ you want to have it. Then save the map. It takes five minutes and you'll never have to bother with it again."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. Your favorite team, in any sport, is the one that just won. So, play that mod. That's what I do when I want to play on a map of Earth.Seemingly Benign

So you're too lazy to go to "load scenario" and then pick that one. Then save it as civ3mod and you'll always play that scenario."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known.
