I always though modern civ was one of the most fun parts. However, I don't think I ever saw a MP Civ2 game make it even near that far. What are some things we can try to do to get MP games into the modern era?

Does this mean that we will have to put up with poorly placed ai cities to start with, or will we start with a settler in the year 1800?Comment

BTW, I think it will start in 400 bce but you will be in the age of choice with a settler.Overworked and underpaid C/LTJG in the NJROTC

Firaxis, in the last CFC chat said you can play any scenario in multi-play. I specifically asked about modern era and if you could have reasonable start and end dates.Seemingly Benign
