See topic, my vote is for Carthage. They have always been my favorite civ in any civ game. Plus their Numidian Merc seems like an interesting and well-named unit.

I'm going with the celts but before even viewing hte results or reading what people write I'm going to guess it's going to be close between Celts and Vikings and maybe the mongols or something. I loike the celts because I don't usually use a navy until later in the game and that means the amphibious assault of the viking guy doesn't help me, and I don't actually use longbow men much although maybe with them I will.Comment

Vikings. That early marine is a huge advantage. Taking cities from the sea before the advent of rails and instant counter attacks is rather handy.Comment
