I was going through the civ's in the editor and I noticed that one of the Great Leaders for China was none other than Ghengis Khan. Has anyone else nticed this, taking into account that the Mongols will be a new Civ comming in PTW?

the names of the barbarian tribes and great leaders will need updating but all in all this is one of the few times I can unconditionally say that Firaxis got it right. The Mongols most definately should be in, they should be militarist/expansionist, and they should have a horseman UU. Job well done Firaxis.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Wow!... this thread got ressurrected 6 months to the day of its last post. I agree, the Mongols were made weak. But if you think about it, they had their fun in the sun very early on. I don't expect them to be a superpower in later stages because they never were. Look at Mongolia now.To us, it is the BEAST.

Why would he close it, Trip?
The Mongols, like any other Civ, can effectively become a superpower in later stages of the game. But their special attributes and UU give them an advantage early on simply because they were dominant early on in real life.To us, it is the BEAST.

At least, that's what he told me. Of course, he says that everything I post is spam, so who am I to judge.
