DOes anyone know how diplomacy is going to be in Hotseat Play?

In civ2 I know you had the AI handleing Diplomacy for you... Has this been fixed so that you can actually handle your own Diplomatic status in PTW?

I think it will have to be similar to CTP1's, but I have no clue, possibilities are there might not even be a hotseat mode.
