  • What I'd also like to be able to do with the editor!

    Hi Again,

I realise this ones a LITTLE frivolous but I was thinking about how your international reputation drops when you raze a city or use nukes. That made me think of TWO things I'd like to be able to do with editor are:

    1) Be able to adjust the drop in reputation you have when you raze a city etc.

    2) Have a "Reduces International Reputation" Flag that you can place on buildings and units! What I envisaged is that simply building units like terrorists and land-mines (not to mention nukes) should damage your reputation. Also, though, I'd like to see certain improvements and Small "Wonders" damage your reputation-like slave markets or forced labour camps!

Anyway, I'd be very interested to hear what people think-am I just being silly?

    Yours,
    The_Aussie_Lurker.

Slave markets? Forced labour camps? Firaxis is too 'politically correct' for that I'm afraid That's a good idea for scenarios though, never thought of it. You'd want 'increases repuatation' too so the Effiel Tower wonder can come back.

Not sure about nukes though. Everyone seems to be getting them these days. Terrorists would make sense - but that flag should apply to units, buildings AND governments. Fascism/Fundamentalism would fit the bill. Good thinking

Give me four and they'll build a pyramid. Give me five and they'll make one an outcast. Give me six and they'll reinvent prejudice. Give me seven and in seven years they'll reinvent warfare. Man may have been made in the image of God, but human society was made in the image of His opposite number, and is always trying to get back home." - Glen Bateman, The Stand (Stephen King)

Slaves. That's what I thought the captured and bought workers were. It does decrease your reputation to have them.
