When scenario lovers like me realised that Civ 3 was unable to create scenarios we get very dissapointed but we were hopeful that a patch will solve this problem. In fact, v1.29 f, which is said to be the definitive patch until PTW expansion, allows us to create scenarios, but...

Where the **** are the diplomatic options?

I can't prestablish commercial or diplomatic relations among the factions I have created.

I can't establish different government types for each civilization keeping the capability to choose any of them.

I think you know what I am saying guys...

one thing they also forgot is this example ,

in the year Y , civ A , B and C sign a trade emabrgo against D , E declares war on F and A , .... etc , .....

a bit like the scripting from civ 2 , BUT more advanced and improved and with more options

with PTW we should get a "more advanced editor" , ... so who knows , .....

If they are seroius about us making historical scenarios PTW will have to give us diplomacy options - you CANNOT make them otherwise.

The emphasis on MP / new civs is worrying though (that better not be it). If they add scripting, all will be solved...
