Actually, the dinos are just for a unit set being included, much like the Feudal Japan and WWII unit sets. There are no plans for a new era (that we know of).Originally posted by panag

agreed , they have been playing with us a bit on this since the start , ....
but why go to the trouble of creating that unit , .....
is it part of a mod , part of an era , something to trow us of balance , a "freak" unit , ......
only Firaxis knows the real answer
