Trading airfields

Can airfields be traded, and can they be built within sombody else cultural boarders? I think they should have a perminent 1 square boarder. So you can buy sombodys airbases. In WW2 England gave America some airbases for some Destroyers and transport ships.
Oh, and these airbases should never flip! The only way to get an enemy or rivals airbases is to send a platoon of tanks into it!

America also has airbases in turkey, they got airbases in turn for giving Turkey international amunity from people trying to defend cyprus when they invaded! They needed the airbases so their B-52's could drop nukes on Russia if needed!

I doubt that they will include this. They don't allow you to trade units, why would they let you trade airfields?

You could even lease them for gpt. A very cool idea.

if they made it so they had 2 square immovable / unflippable borders, i could see exploitation, lining your borders with them, or better yet, lining enemy borders with them.

you couldnt with the current "rules", ie you cant "lease" workers. after the 20 turns the worker is owned by the civ that paid for it, and thats probably how everything would work.

it would be funny to "lease" 10 tanks to a friend, and have a security deposit

I'd love to have things like tradable airfields "We'll give you 500gold for your Midway island airbase!"

I thing aircraft cariers should have a unbreakable 1 square culture radius. Cuz they can PROJECT power. Any other unit can just augment your power, but not project.

The only border they should have is the tile they are in. Otherwise, giving them to another civ would create a big blob of foreign territory in your civ. Also, they would be too powerful as buffers. Fortresses could also create this one tile border.

A security deposit. Would you get to inspect the tanks when they are returned? Wait a minute, you didn't clean underneath the main gun, I'm taking 10 gold out of your depsoit.

thats unfair! So you can no longer have little defensive airwars in another civs lands!

France - "PLEASE LIZZY, I NEED YOUR AIRFORCE TO DEFEND FRANCE!"
England - "Sorry, every time i build and airbase a load of french civilians run in and declare it as french! No can do!"
