  • The Editor: Scripts, Triggers etc. ?

    I was wondering what kind of scripting options will be available in the editor (whenever it comes out . . . ) and who extensive they will be. One thing I'd really like to see would be a trigger to change the attrinutes of certain units for certain civs when resources are lost or a discovery made. Examples:

    IF "player 3" "oil" = 0, THEN start counter = 5 (turns)
    IF counter = 0 (turns), THEN "modern armour" move = 1, attack = 16 . . . etc.

    Or (especially useful for a Second World War scenario) you could increase the abilities of bombers, tanks etc. by simply researching techs, but not having to build, or upgrade to, completely new units. This would kind of be like how ship movement gets increased with wonders, or worker actions get added.
