  • Inforgreed rips us off...again???

$29.95-$39.95 for the Play the World Expansion? They screwed us over with Civ3, and I for one was willing to cut them some slack since they were coming out with an XP with Multiplayer and new civs...

    ...but $29.95-$39.95????

I would have paid up to 19.95 for this expansion pack which SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL...but I refuse to pay that much money for the XP...and even though I never do this, I am going to wait until it's up on the net and download it rather than pay that kind of money...

    what a rip off

Yes, I'd only be willing to pay up to $9.95

Yes, charging us at all for what should have been part of Civ3 is 'highway robbery'

No, this is a reasonable price

Yeah, it's highway robbery, and it's cutting me own throat, but we'll take it (because we just love Civ3 that much)

They can charge whatever they want, don't want it, don't buy it...it's that simple...stop whining

you are not going to win any popularity contest this way

it's gonna be on the net sooner then in the shops

OT: i 'd say 30euro ( hey, this will be the new standard in a few years anyhow, so all you americans, get used to it ) is a reasonable price.

Yup, that little radar tower is precisely why I'm getting it.

not sure were you found the $39.95 price

Amazon listed $34.95 but it now says $29.99, just like EB Games

so it's 30$ just like the great majority of expansion packs....

the Age expansion was $19.95, and well worth it since the first game was amazing enough as is...

alva - no one is trying to win a popularity contest.

What I'm saying is, i don't normally download games of the internet - mainly because I feel you should pay for products like that...but I won't feel any guilt about doing it for PTW...Infogreed is just tapping us for all they can...it's a completely unfair situation - they know how long we've been waiting for this, so they're charging us two prices for ONE game (we all know it should have come out with MP and more civs...it's what we've been saying here for YEARS!)
