The Leader unit could be available from the start of the game, and work as an Army. Units in this army could gain a % bonus to attack and/or defense...

I may be wrong, but I'm under the impression that regicide is not merely a new victory condition, its a new type of game. You either choose to play a standard game OR a regicide game OR a capture de flag game. But how about integrating elements of the regicide game in the standard game? How about adding the following option in the player setup screen: If your CL dies, you loose. My proposition is minimalistic, I know, but it's doable.

You "leader should come during the golden age" people are gonna be sorry when industrial age Germany comes at you with a golden age, panzers, an extra civ trait, and a mobile forbidden palace with special bonus missions.

But seriously, I do like the idea of having him/her sorta trail good benefits wherever they go.

Who cares? Simply avoid to select Germany in Civ List!

Sorry Dr.Stiby, I don't understand if you are referring to the real world effect or game effect. My fault.

I suppose you refer to the game only, and then you have a point, in a general meaning, but I'm not referring to the Interface way to let the player modify a game effects (trade division between money/science/luxury).

I'm thinking at more efficient way to achieve trade result (a leader bonus) and THEN let the player the current ability to distribute it in money/science/luxury.

Actually, Gemany won't be so bad to play because it already would have been destroyed by mid-ancient age Persia with a golden age, immortals, an extra civ trait, and a mobile forbidden palace with special bonus missions.

Any new feedback from Firaxis on this "Civ Leader Reuse" topic?
Sorry, but I missed many threads recently, so I can't check without asking your help.
