Hope someone form the dev team reads this.
The title of my post may connote I'm not satisfied with the current AI, but I am actually quite please with it. That said, I think there are areas, and perhaps some common exploits (like AI civ suiciding entire army on a well defended stack) that can be fixed, and new routines added to make the game interesting.
This isn't so much a quesiton about difficulty, although it would be swell if the AI can pose even more of a challenge without cheats in REGENT, but this is a question about the AI performing human like, seemingly sentient actions. I love to see them, and perhaps some more parameters could be introduced in the XP to build on the existing routines in Civ III.
