I doubt that the addition of some new civs will change my lack of interest in the single player game so I want to see feedback about MP especially the PBEM. It would require a totally new set of combat rules to bring me back to the civ fold and that aint gonna happen.

Panag, I still think that Civ 3 has OK MP modes. Same goes for combat, BTW. While I'm not too excited about the turnless mode yet (doesn't seem to civvish to me), I will want to play MP of course (I'm the PBEM King ), so Firaxis has some people who buy it. Just look, people who like the game want to multiplay... so they will have to buy PtW.
