Well, you seemed to have slipped a cemetery and a prison in there and that made me wonder. Actually I'd rather have features that balance gameplay out and/or improve the interface of the game rather than a bunch of units/buildings/etc... The reason for that is because units/buildings can always be added (thanks to that wonderful little fellar named Gramphos ) via modding wheras adding new features can not.

Trust me, there will not be a 512x512 map, and if there is a rumour about it, it is not a legit rumour.

BtW, I remember a certain somebody [cough] me [cough] suggesing the idea for radar in the game almost a year ago, and I remember a lot of certain somebodies [cough] a lot of people at Apolyton [cough] rejecting the idea. However, now that Firaxis actually implements (are going to) into the game it suddenly becomes a great feature. Oh oh yes, I see how it is!And yes I do know that this was apart of SMAC
However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.

yeah, actually my p4 is handling a 256x256 fine right now. Depends on how much land mass. Think of the whining avout the slowdown on a 512 x 512. Actually I would like to play on a map that large, against maybe 31 civs.

when they started with civ3 they never thought that they could get 16 civ's , now they are talking about 32 , so who knows , ....
512x512 , now , that would make the day , .......and i am sure that with the right people making it , there shall be no need for any slowdowns

Radar towers......a concept borrowed from the CtP series perhaps? In any case a good thing. I used to love the way you could build a couple of radar towers in CtP1/2 and electronically monitor your territory.
Any ideas about what the outposts are? I hope they are not as useless as colonies are. The other thing is will colonies be fixed so we can use them more?

Wow someone missed me without ever knowing me! I must be a really nice guy.
I declare I will not buy Civ3:Play the World but instead will download it from somewhere. I am angry because things like airfiled, stack movement, and multiplay, etc should have been included in the game at the very beginning. How dare they use the gamers as beta tester! How dare they release a game that is only half done, and charge us another $30 or so for the 2nd half of the game?
