I'm going to buy the expansion : scenarios and probable scenario editing tools make it worth, plus the new Civs will probably have specific traits. MP doesn't spoil it either, even if it isn't my top priority : I like to play hotseat or LAN
But if there is a pay per play option, there is no way I support this, and I'll just download the XP, without ever playing by paying. Pay per play would be unforgivable.

Once again I agree with Spiffor entirely. I find that if they charge for payment, I'll indeed download it, or do the next best thing, publish it on the net.

I think you're probably right. I don't think even Infogrames is that crazy. The backlash would be intense. Probably the deathblow. Or not, since they already have their money. we shall see. we shall see.
