It's also fun to control the civs in a scenario, say WW2 for example, and make them behave the way they did historically. Call me weird but it keeps me off the streets at night.

I used to play hotseat games where I be all countries, I would wipe a country out, then make another country have a civil war so that I could come backFirst Master, Banan-Abbot of the Nana-stary, and Arch-Nan of the Order of the Sacred Banana.

That would be a problem. The only thing is, the way the AI in Civ 3 is set up, you'll be used to cheating opponents
