cant open jshelr's files. I haven't downloaded the patch. I guess I should, but am still wondering if it iwll affect my ability to play games with people who dont have access to the patch (players outside the US).

I've tried loading it from the main screen, and through multiplayer. No go either way.

Either way, the patch is too big for me to take the time today. Sorry, I hate to hold things up for a couple days, but thats life. But I will be able to check so this board so if anyone has any ideas on how to fix, let me know.

yeah in the large game pbem I have, a non- u.s. player can't patch and can't load the game it seems.

You may install, but copy the old PtW installation to another folder so you can use both versions, like me, i have 3 different civ versions in hard disk, lined up nicely at the desktop

when will the other patches be out? Because I need to upgrade to continue one game I'm in.
