Same story
However, here is a messy workaround option that is going to cause problems. Instead of saving the file properly, I saved it as you would in single player. That worked, so I have a file that includes my last turn saved.
With everyone's permission either I will go in or someone else could go in and try to mess with this file until Alexman's turn comes up.
We might need to share passwords or something. I really don't know.

I jammed out a solution, I think. Please go over this with a fine tooth comb to see if it is acceptable.
Gramps used the same technique he used to use to debug fortran programs back in the days of punch cards. Try everything until something seems to work

This is Alex. I'll be using this account for now.
Jshelr, If you save your game before ending your turn, you get one extra turn of production when you reload. How about if you don't end your turn, but when the game prompts you to save or continue, you click continue?
I would give you my password and instructions of what to do in my turn, and then hopefully you will be able to end my turn normally and send it directly to Dominae.
Of course, you would have to promise to forget my plans to destroy you.

The real problem here was that one of my spearmen headed south saw Ralph's warrior headed our way and was frightened to death, causing the game to crash.
I think Alex is right about the production, but the continue game option will not fly -- the game bombs in that direction also. Maybe I can disband a unit to give back a turn of production to get us back to even as a rough a ready solution.Illegitimi Non Carborundum

I don't blame you for being confused. The only thing to recommend this save is that it does not bomb. I don't see why the date is what it is either. That could be part of whatever made this bomb. Maybe we should let everybody play a turn and then decide if it is good enough to go forward.Illegitimi Non Carborundum

If I'm following this discussion, I assume it is normal to get one extra turn of production at 1500BC. The problem is that it will be very difficult for me to compensate. We would have to go back to the previous save in order for me to do so fully (and even then, things are complicated).
We could just all grant ourselves this extra turn. Is there any harm in that?
I'll wait to hear from at least 2 of you.

I think you can just play your turn because we have no other option. We have two 1500 turns. In this current second one, I think Jshelr got an extra turn of production, I lost movement of all my units that were not fortified last turn (no extra production), and who knows what else will happen from here...
I say just play as it is and we'll decide after the game returns to normal.

Ok, I'm going ahead. I think we all get another turn of production (including science, and all the other "upkeep"-type stuff), but no extra movement.
I'll be sending in a couple of seconds (to Sir Ralph). And her eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming...
