has anyone had any troubles with this game?

I can't build a road for some reason. If this continues I could have a difficult time kicking all your asses . But seriously if I can't fix this problem I may be in serious trouble.

are there any requirements for building roads that I can't remember?

"road now requires wheel" was decided in the very first post of this thread.
ADG wanted to try it this way to make wheel a more interesting technology.
