  • Welcome Mazarin. It will be interesting to see if this game finishes with any of the original players. Currently at 50% turnover rate.

I'm at work. Will play turn when I'm home.

That is a threat!! If you were on our land mass, we would be cowering.

The game is no where near decided, and it doesn't really even have a lead civ yet. I'm happy to continue as is. But let me be the one to say that I would start over if all three of you guys wish to.

The game has accelerated production turned on and I think that screwed most people up. I don't have much experience with it either, but my guess was that you build fewer cities, much closer together, and crank out good troops asap. Normal city spacing may be too slow for this situation.

I don't know. It just seems likely that some of you might agree that it would be fun to start over with the increased experience about pbem we have developed. So, I'm placing that option on the table if anyone is interested.

No - I was just making light about the player turn-over. I wouldn't want to start over. None of the other games I am involved with are this far along - this makes it interesting. And I am enjoying getting to know accelerated production. I actually think I like it for pbem games. It seems to speed things up. But that is all relative.

I am happy with the game as is - from the score that is posted - and I'm not sure what it represents, Mazarin inherited the lead. But I agree - this is nowhere close to being finished.

        Cheers!

        • I believe it's the same game score that is in the SP game, land area and citizens in a good mood, etc. It doesn't mean much at this stage.

jshelr - not sure why you posted the save in the thread. You may want to edit and delete it. Thanks.

                            • I post them because AOL sucks. There have been cases where my sends show up, literally, days later. This way, you can be sure that your file will show up in time for your breakfast, one way or another. And I do routinely edit them so we are not hogging the storage capacity of the system. (To keep up with the wild and wooly Strat 1 game, I have to do this. They often play the posted file long before the AOl file shows up.)
