Bad news.

At the conclusion of my turn, the game bombed. I was not doing anything unusual -- moving some workers around basically.

I played both the file Maz sent directly and the file posted here and got the same problem.

How should we proceed. (One thing I can do is play on another computer -- seems unlikely to help.)

I tried it again and sent you the file...I can't say what went wrong as I played turns for two other PBEMs today and didn't have any problems. If this file doesn't work, I'll play this turn on another computer, too...maybe BetaHound schould also try replaying his turn.

I sent a request for help to firaxis but I would not get our hopes up.

Will do when I get home this evening. This would be a bummer. This game is by far the farthest ahead of any pbem games I am in.

I will give this a last try soon. Sorry to be so slow but we've been trying to sort out patch issues and that slowed my down a bit. Travelling today but will try to get to it.

BetaHound, I played it and the file has been forwarded to jshelr...he said it still didn't work.

Waht do you think of trying the last turn with 1.21 again. I have no problems using that as I already have 1.14 and 1.21 installed on my computer.

I have not tried the save that beta played first. I can't use the 1.21 version because all the other games are staying 1.14.

However, when I get back to Toronto, I can try the 1.21 version as well.

Ok - you will have to give me a bit of time. I am still using 1.14. I will need a bit of time to set up both.

But if the game worked OK for you Mazarin, it would leave me to believe that the problem is with jshelr's set up. Are you playing from a different computer than used previously, jshelr?
