        • The mighty Persians have fallen that far ehh? OK, let's hope the retiring doesn't have any ill effects.

          • OK it wouldn't let me save the game. I've been doing all sorts of weird things on my computer. So I'm probably going to have to reboot my computer and try again.

                • not those sorts of weird things. I just had streaming audio, kazaa going, and I played a smac pbem. I had numerous other windows open as well. And after all that civ3 was running a little weird.

                  • Next time you do that, hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see if "Winmgt" is present. It seems to be something Civ3PTW related, it doesn't always close out, and when it doesn't other windows/programs will not load. If you "End Task" enough times on it, it will close-out and allow you to resume whatever you were trying to do. Stupid sub-programs
