OK it wouldn't let me save the game. I've been doing all sorts of weird things on my computer. So I'm probably going to have to reboot my computer and try again.

not those sorts of weird things. I just had streaming audio, kazaa going, and I played a smac pbem. I had numerous other windows open as well. And after all that civ3 was running a little weird.

Next time you do that, hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see if "Winmgt" is present. It seems to be something Civ3PTW related, it doesn't always close out, and when it doesn't other windows/programs will not load. If you "End Task" enough times on it, it will close-out and allow you to resume whatever you were trying to do. Stupid sub-programs
