Requirements:

Civ3:PtW v1.04 Patch (get it here!)
An E-mail address that can send and receive file attachments
The ability to play at least one turn and send it to the next player in a timely manner (about one turn every day or two)
If you don't meet any of the requirements listed above, you might as well stop reading now, because you can't play. But don't give up yet if all you are lacking is the 1.04 patch. That is easy to get and free.
Game Settings:
Players: 8 (hopefully , it's the maximum allowed in one game)
Game Type: Play by Email
Game Mode: Standard
Turn Timer: None
World Size: Standard
Barbarian Activity: Random
Land Mass: Random
Water Coverage: Random
Climate: Random
Temperature: Random
Age: Random
Difficulty: Regent
Game Rules:
Allow Domination Victory
Allow Space Race Victory
Allow Diplomatic Victory
Allow Conquest Victory
Allow Cultural Victory
Preserve Random Seed
Game Procedure:
Choosing a civilization: The game will only allow each civilization to be used once, and I know that two or more people might both want to play the same civilization. In order to solve this problem, every player that wishes to play will need to send me a private message listing their top five civilization choices. Please rank them so that I know your top choice and your last choice. In the event that two or more people want the same civilization, I will roll dice to see who gets the much wanted civilization. As GM of this game, I will not choose my civilization until all the other players have been assigned their civilizations. Do NOT post your civilization prefernces in this thread. Send me a private message or an e-mail telling me your preferences!
Remember that you can choose from any of the 16 original civilizations in Civ3 as well as the 8 new ones that were added in Play the World.
Finally, if you can and want to play, please post in this thread to sign up.
If you wish to customize your civilization (you still need to pick a regular civilization, I can just give them different names), then I need to know the following, which you can post in this thread. But do NOT post your civilization preferences in this thread.
I need to know:
Leader: (ie: Hannibal, Catherine, Bismarck, etc.)
Title: (ie: General, Czarina, Chancellor, etc.)
Formal Country: (ie: Carthage, Russia, Germany, etc.)
Tribe: (ie: Carthaginians, Russians, Germans, etc.)
Adjective for your people: (ie: Carthaginian, Russian, German, etc.)
If you don't customize, then the Leader name above will be the name you use on the forums. If you want to be Catherine though, just say it, and I can change your leader name to Catherine instead of using your username from this website. However, using both Catherine and your username might confuse some people.
