I think that should be good enough, Dominae. If you want, we could meet here. They do have live chat, although I've never tried it.
Let's just agree on 9:00 est. I'll send you the file probably before that time.
Thanks, Dominae...I have your email address. You should all have the list. If not, I'm going to include it in my readme.txt file that will come with the first round.
Also, and this is a "gentlemen's" agreement, since there's no way to verify this...but you shouldn't converse with another player as that player unless you have met his Civ.
i.e. - there should be no "What corner of the map are you in" prior to actually contacting that Civ.
I hope that doesn't upset your strategies too much...

I've done just about everyhing at least once to try it out, but I'm not generally prone to that strategy, unless my set up encourages it.
Either way, as I've said before in these forums, if you don't like something someone else is doing, it becomes a matter of diplomacy.
i.e. "I'm going to sign a universal trade embargo with you unless you stop Horseman rushing player X"
I'm looking forward to the Diplomacy part of it. Should be much more interesting than "They would never accept this deal!" ...when you are only asking for 1 Gold per Turn and they have only one city left. Like they're in a position to say no!
Seriously though...we'll actually be able to TALK about this stuff!!!!

No, KingSponge, the AI does not take over for you in negotiations. What happens is I offer you something, say Pottery, and you see that I'm offering Pottery on your turn and you then offer me something in return...say Ceremonial Burial.
On my turn, I see that you've offered me Ceremonial Burial for Pottery and I can either accept or deny, or make a counter offer. What I can't do is look at what you have and say add 10 gold to your offering....
Thus, email...

I don't think you will have to worry about ICS much after all.
ICS is Infinite City Sprawl. It's a mildly cheesy strategy, but effective, like a soft mozzarella.
See you all tonight, I'm about to skate outta work.

Well, I hope that wasn't TOO frustrating for us all last night, and it looks like there might be some early interest to this game. So it should be ok.
Dominae, if you received my email, it should tell you how to fix that file, and then play your turn and send to Mike. If you're still having problems, let me know.
