  • 'Us and Them' 2 player PBEM

I would like to start a 2 player game with 6 AI players on a standard size panagae map. The AI will be random but I would like culturally linked starts.
Whether we are friends or not depends on how things go in the game. If the other player starts attacking an important trade partner I'm obviously not going to be happy

Any takers? I'd really like to try this with a dependable player.

I would be interested but considering how many pbems we've been in I have no problem with you choosing to go with someone else.

No, no objections at all. Shall I set it up?

Fine with me, did you want to choose civs?

I choose the Koreans. The AI players can be random.

Back to Masuro, Lord of Anatolia.

Hmm, not a great start, first start I've ever had with an Agricultural civ and no river. Were the world settings random?

Oh well, looks like the Agricultural trait won't do many any good in this one.

I chose Temperate for climate but everything else was random. Do you want me to restart?

If you don't mind, if this was more than just us I would play it out, but I'm on a narrow little clump of land with no irrigation source in sight and not too much food apparent.

Since it us and the AI it would be nice to have a start for each of us that wasn't so bleak looking.

                    Wet setting would be nice.

But wet gives us lots of jungle and I hate jungle I'll try temperate again and see what we get. I got a good start last time.

You can chop jungle, but you can't dig rivers.

Yep, better start, at least I have an irrigation source.
