Russian cartographers agree that their might be more to this continent through the vast jungles bounded by mountains in the central northern part of the continent.
Russian appreciate the Aussie gesture and respond in kind. After examining the maps the Russians speculate that the Aussies might need more room and propose expanding the eastern/western dorsal mountain borders to include a one city radius to the western edge of the north/south mountain ranges for the Aussies development bordering the Russian river valley territories a little further to the west.
It appears that there might be another civ on the other side of the jungles. Just speculations at this point not sightings but the Russians are sending their excess warriors to the area as a blocking line to prevent intrusions of foreign settlers on the future Aussie and Russian colonies for the northern jungles of the continent.
The Russian military advisors speculate that by the apparent size of the continent and still undiscovered northern territories that this leaves plenty of room for another AI empire to be placed on this continent. If the size of the continent was smaller or suddenly the scouts run into the northern coast line then we may be proven wrong. However, I wish to err on the side of preparedness rather than being surprised by this. A jungle makes for a natural boundary for 2 tile movement units and it seems the AI does not like exploring them too deeply when other terrain more manuever friendly is available to explore.
The Russians that were mapping the edges of the continent have been re-tasked to the movement of blocking troops to the northern jungles. They were attempting to keep their distance from the Aussie cities while mapping the borders of the continent. As the Aussies have shared their maps with us this is no longer necessary and the units can be and have been reassigned.
