I Like big games usually, I quite often play huge maps and 32 civ games. The more AI the better I think.
Perhaps ancient med era, I particulary like playing Rome or Celts.
And perhaps one other human player to increase the intrigue

yes, the Rise of Rome sounds good to me, bur I would like to be Rome, and as such have the best civ in that scenario.
Maybe a game using that map or another ancient med map with standard game civs ie epic game length.
I take your point about game speed, and am happy to play as we are but if a third and reliable person can be found then its equally fine by me.
Any game on any map but with all 8 civs will do to be honest.
What about an all seafaring civ set up! or some other slant like that. Mind you we better have the Russians in to give your warriors something to do

King Paddy, your kindness knows no bounds, we will be forever your loyal ally.
As a thank you from our Nation to yours we should like to offer you the freedom of the city of Madrid.
Please you must come and visit our court at your convenience.
We look forward to the near future when our two great nations can begin to trade fully in the commodities and luxery products we manufacture.

Could we perhaps agree to perpetual ROP and MPP, or could I persuade you to take back the other two?
You see I was not aware of your mistake and Imediately rushed barracks at a hefty cost. As your loyal Ally I would gaurentee you constant passage through the lands surrounding the city in question and would permit you to station troops to maintain the border checkpoint.
I only rushed at 77 because it looked like the most likely city to hold if cathies peasents revolted, so you see it would be difficult to let go now.
Please tell me your thoughts on this, I am considering changing the cities name to Gibralter

Okay well I hope we can continue our ancient partnership and both live with these events. I am willing to seed back the other two cities if you like, as a gesture of friendship.
Please dont hesitate to station troops to ensure a corridor through 77's territory to ensure swift deployment for your forces if the need should arise
870 to you
