      Kermit-
You might want to edit out the email links in your previous post. I hear the professional spammers will snag your address if it's in a link. just substitue the word AT and DOT for the appropriate symbols.
      Thanks,
      Burly

Kermit, have we decided on the oher settings for the game? For example:
        Map Size?
        Land Mass setting?
        Barbarian setting?
        AI Civs In or Out?

My input (if it really matters):

Map Size: No preferance (but I do like large worlds - the larger the better as far as I'm concerned!)

Land Mass: Archipelago (ya gots to have some sort of navy!)

Barbarian: Roaming (but I also like the sedentary setting) - they can be a pain at times.

AI Civs: With 5 or more players, I say no AIs, but again, I'm easy.

Also, what should we call our game? "Play Bye E-Mail - regent difficulty" seems rather wordy...since Kermit is the person getting the game together, I think it should be named after him - such as "Kermit's PBEM" or even "Froggy PBEM."

        What does everyone else think?

Map Size: Large or Huge depending on if we get more players or not
          Land mass setting: Pangaea
          Barbarians: roaming
          Victory types: everyone exsept domination
          AI: NO Computer players

This is the settings i have chossen
If you are unhappy with my settings plz post what you would like to be different.

I agree with the pangea setting, possibly continents. I think early contact is a must, or things get boring. I'd prefer not to play huge, unless the corruption is lowered. Huge maps with only 8 players tend to create battles for useless lumps of land (IMO). I like the victory conditions (I assume diplomatic won't win, since we'll all vote for ourselves ) I agree no AI players. It's just a way for whoever neighbors the AI to race up the tech tree and gain land through early conquest against an easy opponent. I wouldn't mind having the barbarians up to roaming, gives a little spice to the early game.

            I'M READY TO GO!!!

Are we going to have any conditions for restarts? What happens if someone gets stuck in the mountains or dessert? Maybe we could have someone else get the game started and make sure the start locations aren't too terrible.

                      ok, thanks
                      I get persian
my email addres is: zalek at interia dot pl

I propose that we play three games at once and after a few turns (4 to 6) each player vote which game she/he would continue. A game with the most vote we'll continuoe.
What do you think about this?

Okay, I'm at GMT-5, so that makes it about 4PM there? I won't get to play my turn until 5PM (GMT-5) since I'm at work. Maybe we should rework the order to put all of the Americans together for faster play. It looks as if the other 3 are European (please bonk me on the head if I'm mistaken, see previous comment on flag knowledge) Basically, if you just switch me and Zord in the order I think this would work. I think this would make play smoother and maybe allow us to get through a turn a day.
