Besides I have 4 all terrain as roads units and CAN NOT get any barbarians from huts as I haven't founded a city yet.

Very interesting Ghengis!!!! I shoud have guessed that you'd be up to something. IIRC you can't get barbs if you have no millitary, is this right or is it if you have no cities? have you been getting units from huts then disbanding them.

Not setting off barbarians from goody huts may sound good but every turn you don't have cities building defensive units is a turn less before the barbarian camps start up.

I don't fear the barbs too - they can only take money (and I don't have them usually)

You do not get Barbs from huts if you have not founded a city. You can get all the units from huts you want though.

Somebody's barbs have may have murdered one of my settlers though.

One of my Barbarians is not in view. Perhaps your settler fell victim to him? I hope not because that would mean we are very close together.
