3450BC to zord.
Ricochet is a sport similar to squash, which in turn is a little bit similar to tennis. You play squash with a rather small rubber ball, a racket, both players against just one wall - in a closed court. It is allowed to bounce the ball off the walls. Ricochet is pretty much the same, but the ball is different (even "lazier" than the squash one) and the court has a ceiling which is part of the game (you can bounce the ball off the walls and the ceiling).
Very fast sports.

I'm ready to play again. Please don't bother Vondrack with the saves anymore and instead send them to me.
However I have nothing against continuing your sport related discussion AFAIK ricochet is a frech word, meaning "rebound" or "bounce back", something like this, so the name makes sense. I didn't know though that it is different from squash. I thought it's the same thing in a different language."The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

Well, the ricochet ball is extremely "lazy" in the sense that it bounces VERY poorly (it is quite soft). You need to hit it vigorously with your racket to make it bounce properly. It does not look that way if you are watching it from outside - it looks like the ball is flying bullet-fast... but that is only because the players are giving it the proper drive. If you drop the ricochet ball onto the floor, it will almost not jump back up at all.
Squash and ricochet are technically very similar (the only notable difference is the fact that the ricochet court has the ceiling you can use to bounce your ball - and then, the rackets/balls are different a bit), but the feel is quite different. In ricochet, you primarily need quick reflexes and a strong arm (to be able to hit the ball with power enough). There is less technical finesse involved, I'd say - it is mostly just a bam-bam play. Well, not completely, but... you get the idea.
Squash, OTOH, needs much more technical play. And better physical condition/stamina (the court is significantly larger and you have to run much more during the match). You can win matches without actually hitting the ball like crazy every time - you can play your balls very softly, if you aim them precisely. Something that would not work in ricochet.
I am playing much more squash, having ricochet only as a side-affair (the amateur team league I am involved in uses to play 4 squash + 1 ricochet matches as part of one team match). Ironically, my standings are better in ricochet... perhaps because I can do with less stamina there...
Oh, and... yes, stop bothering me with Tibi's saves, please.

Rommel, you sent me the wrong save file, or you forgot to hit enter to end your turn. 3400 off again. Let me know if it's the same save.
It sounds like the same half-court setup as raquetball (all 6 sides of the room are in play), but the ball is very lively. The raquet is very short, just strings and a handle, no neck. It is also played under the exact same conditions with no raquet and called handball. I knew squash was indoors with the walls in play but for some reason, I thought it was a full-court game.
Personally, I grew too tall and started to smash the walls with my raquet, so I never developed the intricate dance skills required to hit a ball and then give your opponent room to chase the 100+ MPH rebound.Enjoy Slurm - it's highly addictive!
