I'm guessing not everyone is upgraded?
What do you mean: new rules? Does anything change if you start PtW (not Conquests!) and load your old PBEM save?"The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "

Rommel- I have Conquest as well, but ricketyclik is yet to upgrade, so please replay and send your turn using PtW until everyone is upgraded. If I determine the enemy's disposition of forces while I have no percerptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is fragmented. The pinnacle of military deployment approaches the formless: if it is formless, then even the deepest spy cannot discern it nor the wise make plans against it.

Well, it's all very confusing. Loading the game under Conquests plays the old game under the new interface tweaks (cities with barracks have an icon by them on the map similar to harbors and airports in PtW). I'd assumed this meant the new rules were in effect (archers now have 0 range bombard capability, for example). I just rechecked and the archer rules are uncahanged with the game loaded within Conquests.
I played 1575 under Conquests also, so there's no point in replaying 1550. If there are any problems, I'll have to go back 2 turns. Did anyone notice anything odd last time around?
[I can't believe they require the PtW disc to start that version of the game. The Conquests box even advertises that PtW is included, but it asked me to swap in the old disc to load. Can't we put that debacle behind us? Conquests has been playing great right out of the box.]Enjoy Slurm - it's highly addictive!

rommel- 1575 loaded into both COnquest and PtW, 1575 doesn't load into PtW. Go figure. I'll send the save along to ricketyclik, but I think it'll stop there for a little while. If I determine the enemy's disposition of forces while I have no percerptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is fragmented. Zord, Apoly news stated it was available everywhere but Asia after the 14th. I even saw an article about the v1.01 patch for the Spanish version. If you're really interested, check around.
Daedalus, did you mean to say 1550 doesn't load into PtW? What save did you send to rick?Enjoy Slurm - it's highly addictive!

The most recent save does not load into PtW, only COnquestsIf I determine the enemy's disposition of forces while I have no percerptible form, I can concentrate my forces while the enemy is fragmented. Rommel, couldn't you just replay the last turn with PtW until all of us will purchase Conquests?"The only way to avoid being miserable is not to have enough leisure to wonder whether you are happy or not. "
