Given the delicacy of the current military situation between Rome and Sumeria, I feel I must wait for an appropriate response from the Lord Troll. To remove my troops from his lands (as he suggests) in return for peace, without receiving certain assurances of compliance, could be fatal for the Roman empire.

I shall ignore the obvious hypocrisy of your public statements, given the number of troops you moved into my land (and are stilla dvancing upon my towns), since reason does not seem to be a virtue with which you are blessed.

So I shall therefore offer to do exactly as you ask.....to remove my troops from your lands. The question is however, should I do so, what assurances do I havet hat you will;

1. Allow them to leave unharmed;
2. Remove your own troops from my lands immediately; and
3. Guarantee peace for the medium term.

As you know, you have not shown yourself to be trustworthy. What proof do I have of this new-found sincerity, or is it simply another trick?

We have nothing to hide here, and you asked what I wanted and I responded.

You asked again in private so I decided to show all involved I have nothing to hide.

To Germany it reads as Sumeria and Rome agree upon the tems Sumeria proposed. Both Rome and Sumeria will retreat from to their own territory.

Rome has now moved all units out of Sumerian lands that can be immediately removed. Roman Cavalry have commenced their trek, but will take one more turn to return home.

I trust the Sumerian forces will now remove themselves from Roman lands immediately. Please note, that as a sign of good faith I refrained from attacking the 2 vulnerable Swordsmen away from your main stack
