I am slowly replacing my Caravel perimeter guards with Cruisers, and moving the Caravels elsewhere in my perimeter that is not close to either of you.

Suffice it say, they are all unmanned in any case. I hope yours are too, in this age of (potentially) Marines

So, Dauphin has just discovered Flight, so I'm guessing your research is turned to zero and you're helping fund Kloreep's Radio research? How many more turns till you guys catch me and I can get in on the tech sharing?

Anyway, we might as well do this in the thread rather than send emails, since we probably all have the same interest (Kloreep and I have exchanged emails on the subject).

Kloreep, I believe I have moved all transports away from range of your nearest islands to me, as requested. Dauphin, seems you have one or two transports within striking range of my lands, so I would appreciate you moving them away a little. If I have overlooked any of mine, please let me know.


Now, to the important subject:

Congratulations on obliterating my tech lead - it was inevitable, particularly with the growth capacity of Spain and the Hittites, that my paltry Zulu islands unfortunately do not permit. Actually, you guys now have a lead over me theretically, since I know that Dauphin discovered Nationalism, and the only reason I can think of for doing that (given drafting is unlikely to be necessary) is to research Communism for the corruptiojn-reducing Police Stations!

So now that we have all entered the modern age, I would like to be included in your cooperations. Clearly a continued two vs one tech scenario will eventually eliminate me, and one way or another I don't want that to happen. Would either or both of you consider trading techs with me in the future, and under what conditions?

It's true we didn't go straight through the Ind era. But then, your "paltry islands" still entered the Modern Age several turns before I did, so I wouldn't call your lead "gone" just yet.

It's true you don't have much of a lead. I personally would be willing to consider trading with you again fairly soon, though I'd need to think it over.
