 Fellow players, I have been puzzled by an event that occured a few decades ago. Hopefully it doesn't offend the rules to talk about it.
 
 1870 BC: I had sent out a settler and intended to found a city on the next turn. The barbarian settlement in the mountains seemed to be of little concern as there was no way the settler could be attacked.don't worry about things you have no influence on...

 I think this is well within the rules to bring up a situation like this.
 
 Being that none us have amphib capability, none of us would be able to attack from the sea. Clearly the barb in the 1870 graphic wouldn't be able to get there as has been stated.
 
 Is it possible a barb was generated randomly in that space or do they only come from barb camps?
