Although i have a million games going ... I'd like to start another one, for fun (not money, sorry alexman).
This is a TEAM PBEM. Not a Demo game, but a TEAM game in which eight players are on four teams, implying locked alliance (and co-victory, assuming both players survive). I think others have played this way before, but I haven't... and would like to.
I will take *only team entries*, which means if you don't have a teammate, post here but I'm not saving you a spot if 4 full teams show up. I don't intend this to be a terribly serious game -- mostly because I don't have the brainpower to be assured I'll win.
Rules:
Team members may communicate anything and everything to each other, maps, screenshots, science, whatever. It'll be on a random map, so no guaranteed nearby start, but you'll find each other soon enough i don't doubt.
Non-team members may not communicate except what's available in game -- you may communicate anything that would be technically communicable in game, so once map trading is available you can give specific directions; once mil. alliance is available you may make a military alliance; once communication is open, you may discuss scientific advances. Communication with one team member is communication with both.
Beside that, I don't see any 'rules' we need (though post if you do). Play for fun, play fairly.
Map will be Standard, Pangea, 80% water, to ensure we're nice and tight. Everything else up the middle.
I'd be open to a slightly modified map, either to ensure close team starts, or to give a fast start (extra settler), and/or anything else people want.
Oh, and anyone who wants to team with me, feel free to say so. I'm going to ask a few people, but I don't have anyone lined up yet.
