      • I have an issue with the save, last turn I had a settler and moved it so it was protected by a sword. However when I opened this save my settler was gone, killed by the barb i had hoped to protect it from and the sword that was with it had moved 1 tile.

I think Platypus must have placed some units on go to commands as when I checked the units last save there was no movement left.

My mistake was not fortifying then rewaking them I suppose but alas i have lost the settler now.

I am asking if you are prepared to replay the last turn so that I can rectify this error ?

I would not normally ask if I found I had made an error myself, however this has occured due to having a replacement player play a few turns.

I sent this message to Modo earlier, and he agreed in principle to rep[lay the last turn. However he wanted me to ask the rest of you in the game if you are happy to do this, so......?

Platypus could you confirm whether you left some units with go to commands ?

        • To compensate you for your losses, I can offer 2 Oda slaves. If you find that acceptable arrangement, please let me know and also send a scout toward my tribe and I will send a scout toward your tribe.

          • Thanks for the offer ljube but I need to replay really.

Im going to do so as no one has raised objections, thank you for your understanding in this.

I must tell you all this is my first ever play at this conquest, ive not even played it SP at all.

I do not think Im doing well at all, I only have 1 town my capitol and the AI seem to have four or five around me swallowing my civ up.

Had barb trouble from the off, they were crawling all over me and killed my start sword, had to keep the workers in the city under the daimyo for several turns early on.

Ill replay now and send on to swissy with an explanation

              • I don't know which level the AI is, I think Sid, so it's perfectly understandable that they are overproducing human players. For the record, I also have only 1 city, but have bunch of slaves from an early raid against my neighbours Oda.

                  • Chrisius. No objections from me.

This is a tough game - but it is fun.

Remember the great Takada Philosopher who stated:

"That which does not kill us, only makes us stronger. Hai!"
