They are extremely easy to get into an Alliance. So two players could be turning the AI against each other every turn, which is no fun. If you just disallow alliances with the AI, everything should be fine.

was just jokin - its quite obvious - when u click on jungle u see it gets u 2 food and a shield - not that bad

so no alliances with Computer but making peace and war and trading techs?

so help me out since I am still learning..if an ai demands a trade and I agree and we get along..and they say "attack" someone this would be a violation?

If so then I tell them NO and they declare war on me and then they have an alliance so now I have to fight two instead of supporting with a few units attacking an ai?

It seems messed up that even though I am not a full fledged ally, I cant make deals for self preservation!

The AI never demands that you attack someone. They might propose an alliance, but that can be turned down safely.

They might come demanding things (like cash, or luxuries, or technology), in which case you do whatever you choose (tell them to beat it or pay).

If you are actively trading with the AI, the chances of them declaring war on you are smaller. But, unlike the alliance thing, this is no game breaker, so I se no reason to forbid it.

To be precise, Jungle in this conquest = grassland + shield, except terraforming costs are 3X as high in Jungle than gra

Irrigation isn't advaible until Terrace Farming in this conquest.

The Incan & Mayan players should note that the Amazon is both impassible and 0/0/0, but barb camps can still form. This means the only way to get rid of the camp entirely is to have a citys culture expand into it. Athough barbs can be enslaved and sacificed. Presumably the amazon within a civs cultural boundary does count as land area towards the domination victory condition.

I'd have been willing to play this at a much slower turn rate.

In this conquest, the 3 AIs have much weaker starting conditions than the humans.

It will be quite a while before any of the weaker civs would declare war on you for not granting them a tech or cash. But even if they do declare war on you, you should be able to wipe out the offending civ and sacrifice their workers easily.


I'd actually place my money on the first war involving an AI being caused by a human.
