no alliances unfortunately. in fact there has been quite a military stand-off going for some time, not to mention an arms race. my dwarfs are well prepared for any niggles!

wonders give you lots of points. also that continent appears to be a big one from what i've seen so far.

i'll tell you what though, there is definitely something in my hobit's water. the poor buggers have lost 14 pop points so far and counting. i got landed smack in the middle of a desert full of floodplains!

my work computer has just been upgraded, and now i don't have civ anymore! Mike, do you have the original Civ3 disk?
