I wouldn't miss it either. Like I said before why not just kill this one and try it in Civ 4 instead.

I think we are still only on turn 31 after 8 months or so.

my suggestion is that if you are not enjoying it then retire your civ so we can get on with it.

Thats a good idea. I'll retire rather than find a replacment and maybe the game can get back to 5 turns a month.

Nothing is faster if any player decides to disappear for a week, or just forgets to send the save. The latter happens to everyone at some point.

I think I'll look for a replacment in this game after all. It might be better for me to just retire my civ though, let me know your preference.

I think it is your preference you should follow. If you want to withdraw, and can not / want not find a replacement, we can still resort to retiring your civ.
